received his Bachelors of Art in Biology from the University of San Diego. While there he
played inter-collegiate football; earning a starting position his freshmen year. He also holds a
Master’s Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Arizona. He is a graduate of the
California College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Kaiser Hospital
in Santa Clara, California as Chief Resident. He specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle
surgery, trauma and sports injuries. His practice also includes comprehensive and personalized
treatment for a wide variety of foot and ankle problems.
Dr. Harlan spends his free time in activities involving his two boys and his wife. Football season
is spent cheering on his older son playing college ball in South Dakota. He also enjoys visiting
his younger son at college in Boston. Dr. Harlan has a passion for mountain biking; one that he
has passed on to both of his boys. The family spends as much time as they can on the slopes in
the winter, both skiing and snowboarding. Dr. Harlan enjoys traveling with his family, whether it
is to a faraway destination or discovering a National Park. A family goal is to explore a different
National Park each summer. Having lived in Arizona since 1972, Dr. Harlan’s favorite National
Park has to be the Grand Canyon!

Dr. Abraham has been practicing as a foot and ankle specialist in the Valley since 2006.
She attended the Air Force Academy for her undergraduate studies
Served as an officer in the Air Force for eight years.
Completed her medical education at the California College of
Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.
Her training continued with a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at the Carl T. Hayden
VA Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Her residency included comprehensive training in
reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and diabetic wound care. She is an attending at the
Phoenix VA Hospital, and continues to work with podiatric residents and medical students. Dr.
Abraham also works at the Banner University Medical Center Wound Care Center where she
treats patients with complicated lower extremity wounds and is involved in research studies.
Dr. Abraham is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She sees
patients of all ages and provides medical and surgical treatments for a variety of foot and ankle
conditions from bunions and fractures to ingrown toenails, heel pain, and sports-related injuries.
She is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Arizona Podiatric
Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Association
for Women Podiatrists.
Dr. Abraham was an All American distance runner in college and later coached track and cross
country at the Air Force Academy. She continues to enjoy running and remains active in the
local running community. She lives in Scottsdale with her husband Mark and their two children,
Macy and Jack. She and her family actively support the local Girl Scouts community as well as
several community youth sports programs.
